Stocking Fillers, Advent Calendar and Secret Santa Gifts/Presents Under £5

I spent a whole day trying to figure out 24 items I’d like to see in my advent calender (a bit too late for that now) or as stocking fillers or Secret Santa gifts and this what I ended up with! Of course, the best thing is that they’re all under £5, based on the price to date, and I WANT THEM ALL (hint hint)! I’ve linked them all up, so you know where to get it if something on here catches your eye! 🙂 1. Sleek Makeup True Colour Lipstick Mystic – £4.99 2. Lush Cosmetics Luxury Lush Pud –…

Bourjois Happy Light Foundation No53 Golden Beige Review and Swatches

This Bourjois Happy Light Foundation came out not so long ago and it’s become a “happy spotlight” in the beauty blogosphere. I am not a huge fan of foundations because I’m more of “look natural with minimum coverage” girl, so most of the complexion correction stuff I use on my face are BB creams, CC creams and tinted moisturisers (Foundation Alternatives). Although I do refer my skin looking a little flawed, there are special occasions in my life that require me to have porcelain looking skin. I was aiming for the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum when I stepped into Boots a few weeks…

S5 Skincare Illuminating Serum Review

Oh dear! I almost forgot to review this product! I’ve featured in it this post: Beauteco Box August 2013 (now called Love Me Beauty) and The Starting Off Project: Skincare. So yes, I’ve had it for ages! I did (almost) finish it a month ago, but I left some for the purpose of this review! Yay! I did note down all the short-term effects though. I was going to skip over this review, but a few days ago some Googlers came across my blog by searching “S5 Skincare Review”, which gave me a reason to finally write this up. S5…

Melvita Rose and Orange Blossom Floral Water Review

The first time I came across the term floral water facial toner is through Melvita back in June, when they took part in the Latest in Beauty CEW Discovery Box. I initially thought that this product was meant for anti-aging but later found through testing, that it works well for all skin conditions. It’s so light and fresh, and is a must-have on a hot day (although this does not apply anymore). I am a big fan of spritz toners partially because I’m lazy and… ok, there’s no “and”. I almost forgot that I had these until a recent beauty clean…

Rimmel Apocalips in 304 Eclipse Review and Swatches

Before I started this post, I spent ages trying to figure out what’s wrong with the pictures because in the overview images the colour of this Rimmel Eclipse lip lacquer is sort of pinkish purple, but the swatch shows a red shade? I blame the bad lighting because it was very cloudy when I took the outdoor ones. And by the way, it’s not my Celestial one either because that one has chipped letters. So I’m equally confused as you are. In case you missed it, read my review on Rimmel Apocalips in 101 Celestial  Rimmel Apocalips in 304 Eclipse Rimmel…
