I have been out hauling for treasures at Olympia Beauty! Well, I have been rather good lately and managed to hold back on my need for purchasing beauty products. However, I went to Olympia Beauty last month and it was really difficult to retain the money in my pocket. It had to go! Voila! Here’s what I got from Olympia Beauty both from personal purchase and from my press goody bag.
Note that I only bought these a few days ago, so I haven’t had chance to test everything out yet. This is simply a first impressions post and not a review post!
First up is a Dermalogica Our Favourite Limited Edition Set, which I received in my goody bag. I’m really excited to try this because I’m already a big fan of Dermalogica and have probably tried 80% of their products (some full sized ones and some samples). This set contains sample sized versions of Daily Microfoliant, Multi-Active Toner, Skin Hydrating Booster, Skin Hydrating Masque and MultiVitamin Power Firm. You basically get a whole skincare routine from the set, and I can certainly say that it contains some of my Dermalogica favourites like the Daily Microfoliant and Skin Hydrating Booster.
So other than getting a mini Demalogica set, I also got an Australian Body Care Tea Tree Oil Foaming Skin Wash, All that Jazz Bee Bar Lotion and Dr. Renaud Camomile Calming Concentrate in my goody bag. I have never tried a foaming body wash before, so I found the Australian Body Care Skin Wash rather interesting. Same for the All that Jazz Bee Bar Lotion, which is “hand cream bar.”
In addition, I also bought a face moisturiser from Environ and I’m interested to see if this moisturiser with a high concentration of vitamin A would get rid of the remainder of my scars. There’s also a Pro-Collage Marine Cream in there, which came with a huge Elemis beauty box I bought (a gift, so it’s not shown in this post).
I think that you’ll be interested to see my nail polish stash as well. I already have a rather large collection of nail polishes, but I think these ones I received from All that Jazz (Simply Irresistible), OPI (Yoga-Ta Get This Blue!) and IBD (Brandy Wine) are perfect for autumn and winter. Dark shades with lots of shine, yes please!
On top of that I also bought a Seche Clear Base Coat and Seche Vite Top Coat because I’ve heard so much good things about them.
Last of all is the stash I bought from NYX, which was definitely the busiest stand at the show. It was rather difficult to have a proper look at the products because there were people everywhere, but I did end up with 5 items. 🙂 The products I bought from NYX are Matte Finish Setting Spray, Jumbo Lip Pencil in Burgundy, Jumbo Lip Pencil in Chaos, Round Lipstic in Uranus and Studio Liquid Liner in Extreme Blue
I haven’t reviewed the products here, but I have added links to them. So if you want more information about what you see, then you know what to do.
Did you go to Olympia Beauty this year or have you done a recent beauty haul? Link me up, I want to see what you got. 🙂
WOW you lucky thing, I would definitely have splurged too if I saw what was there! NYX products are pretty new to me but seem so highly rated, and I am glad you picked up a dermalogica set they are fantastic! Hope you are having a nice weekend xxx
