As a blogger I’ve somehow accumulated a thousand tote bags from bloggers’ events … Ok, not a thousand exactly, but definitely more than what I can count with two hands! I don’t know about you, but I find them really useful and I carry one with me everyday, everywhere. It’s one of those things everyone owns, but no one talks about! Tote bags are easy to store and nice to carry around. Besides, some of them can look really cool and stylish! I personally think tote bags are fashion essentials and they’re perfect for those who likes to carry a little extra, likes to shop or simply wants to save the environment.
From the bags I own, I’ve picked out my five favourites and each of them is special in its own way!
1. The special, one of a kind bag: This has to be my favourite tote bag because it’s got a gorgeous pattern, the colour looks perfect for autumn, it doesn’t crease and it’s made of a thick and strong material…. Believe it or not, it’s actually made of curtain fabric from
Hillary’s. Honestly, if you’re into interior design, then you should definitely take a look at
Hillary’s new collection as some of those patterns look absolutely stunning! My tote bag is made from the
Lattice Pistachio pattern, but I also wish I owned a tote bag made from
Rodez and
Baroque collection.
2. The bag with pretty patterns: I totally didn’t expect Culture to be a brand, but it is surprisingly enough a clothing brand. I really like this tote bag as it’s very thin, so it fits nicely in my hand bag. The colours and pattern look great and it reminds me a bit of a modern-vintage “culture blend.” I think it’s really cool that “culture” refers to the brand as well as having a broader meaning.
3. The event advertising bag: The obvious one here; a bag with the company logo, event name and a cool slogan! I got this tote bag at a bloggers’ meetup in August. I really like this tote bag from The Blogger Programme because it has the word “blogger” on it! I’d totally let the whole world know my blogger identity by sporting this bag.
4.The slogan bag: This is one of the first tote bag I got from an event: Rush Blogger Meet. I love how spacious this bag is and the slogan is really cool and catchy: “Save water, drink champagne!” That solves the world’s problem, right? I think this tote bag is really big and versatile and I use it a lot because it looks small, but it expands a lot! It’s just perfect for food shopping. You can get this Catherine Colebrook tote bag on Not on the High Street.
5. The little black bag: This is a company logo tote bag, but I like this because the company logo isn’t too obvious. FS could stand for anything right? Besides, from far away the yellow letters looks more like abstract art. In this particular case, FS stands for
Fashion Strikes, which is a fashion network currently under development. It’s the smallest of the tote bags, but I love its simplicity.
Have you collected any exciting tote bags lately? I want to see your collection. 🙂

Yes, they're just the right size for notebook! 🙂 x
I got so many compliments on this bag! The only downside of my other bag was that the handles aren't long enough to throw over my shoulder.
