Envy Professional Dual Fix 12 Review

I recently discovered a fabulous new hair care brand called Envy Professional. The brand was founded in 2010 by Paul Bryan. The main aim of Envy is to formulate professional hair products that can give us beautiful envious hair. That’s why it’s named Envy, of course! I quite like the name, it’s simple, witty and catchy. Envy is a salon professional hair care brand, but it can also be enjoyed as a perfect at home treatment. With only eight products to choose from, the product range isn’t exactly immense, but there is definitely something for everyone, especially those with problematic hair! Whether you want glossy, volumised, healthy looking or detangled hair, Envy will have something for you!

Envy Professional Dual Fix 12* (£19.95/200ml)

I am really lucky that I got to review their star product, which has had a fair amount of attention from magazines like Cosmopolitan and Hair. When I received this product I was a little perplexed yet intrigued by how it’s meant to be used. Dual Fix 12 is rather different from anything else I’ve tried. It’s a pre-wash blow dry treatment product. There are two ways in which this product can be used:

1. For an intensive treatment, apply to unwashed dry hair and blow dry to lock in the moisture. Then wash it out with shampoo. 2. For regular use, use between shampoo and conditioner and leave in for one minute.

I prefer the intensive treatment option, so once a week I apply 10 pumps of Envy Dual Fix 12 to my hair, blow dry my hair, leave it in for a few minute before washing it out. It works in the same way as an intensive hair mask, but rather than standing awkwardly in the shower for 5 mins for the mask to work, you can simply get on with life and wash it off whenever you need to.

The scent of Dual Fix 12 is very citrusy, and I’ve concluded that it smells like a grapefruit. The texture as you can see from the picture above is a foam, which makes it easy to work with.

My hair was pretty damaged earlier this summer due to perming and colouring, but every time I use Envy Dual Fix 12, it leaves my hair feeling extremely soft, shiny, a little more volumised and a lot more manageable! I would definitely recommend this product to everyone who has damaged hair looking for a good salon perfect treatment for an affordable price.

I´ve never heard about Envy, but it sounds like the thing my hair needs. I have pretty damaged hair and am going to cut it very soon but I also want it never to be this damaged again so this product would come in pretty handy.

I hate having dry and damaged hair, that's why I usually keep it short. It's definitely worth a try.
