LEOR Body Butter in French Lavender Review

I haven’t written a review post in a while know, but I hope they’ll be just as good as before, perhaps even better! I hope that my future “review and swathes” will contain more exciting pictures as well as easy to find straight to the point content!
The Brand: Leor is a relatively new skincare brand founded by Rachelle Alena Bruce in 2011. Their product range is relatively small with eight different products in the Bath & Body Collection, including shampoo, body butter and shower gel. However, everything comes in seven scents: vanilla, lemon, lime, sweet orange, French lavender, ylang ylang and unfragranced. I suppose the major advantage of this is that if you love the quality of a product, then you will love it just as much in a different scent. When I received this Double Whip Body Butter, it looked freshly  made, which adds another bonus to Leor!

Product Description:
“Do you have skin that’s as dry as the Sahara Desert? No of course not, but if you did then our Body Butter would be your skin’s oasis. With a blend of Shea and Cocoa Butter it will form a protective barrier on your skin and keep you moisturised all day long.”

My View:
Scent: There’s not much I can say about the scent than telling you that it smells like lavender: very soothing and calming.
Texture: In terms of the textures, this is the one of thicker body butters I’ve tried. It’s rather similar to the Body Shop body butters, but perhaps even thicker.
Result: Even though, the texture is super thick, I was positively surprised by how quickly this Leor Body Butter absorbed into my skin without leaving any signs of oily patches. Besides, it always leaves my skin super soft!
Overall, the brand Leor has given me a very good impression and I think the body butter is worth the investment. This is a relatively new brand so it’ll have to compete in the market. I found the packaging very simple and sophisticated, but the plastic felt relatively cheap compared to how it looks like on the website, but I’m sure that things will change up a little once the brand becomes more known to the world.
Behind the scene background:
The background isn’t very exciting this time, but I needed a quick photo before this body butter ends up in the empties pile. I thought the blue flower and wooden ground had a nice “lavender-ish” touch. 🙂
Cosmo Awards: I would be forever grateful if you nominated me for the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards as Best New Beauty Blog. I really hope that being different in terms of photography (photo backgrounds that tells a story) will be a memorable characteristic.

Hey Jessica, we think you tried the Lavender Facial Exfoliate Creme before. We're sorry to hear that the scent was too strong for you…we've toned down the scent since then! Leor

I think Leor is a relatively new brand, but I agree, lavender is one of the most relaxing scents out there x
