First of all… Happy New Year! In terms of major events, 2013 hasn’t been a very special one, but the biggest highlight of all is starting my blog and pushing myself into the unknown world of beauty and social media. Being a bit on the shy side, I think I did rather well meeting fellow bloggers, chatting freely on Twitter as well as showing my face on my blog. 😛
However, my biggest discovery through blogging is photography!!! I’m obsessed with my camera and I think it’s one of the best investments, when it comes to electronics, I’ve made in my life. I don’t have any previous experience with photography, I literally just snap at things that look nice together with some thoughts behind them and the camera does the rest of the work (I love you Mr. Canon 1100D). The photos on my blog have gained a bit of attention, both positive and negative, but blogging it’s all about experimenting with different things; some works and others does not. That’s life!
Beauty and photography gives me a chance to release my creative side, which often feel trapped and a little far-fetched in my daily life, hence my blog is my creative retreat! So as a summary of what I managed to do with my new creative hobby, I compiled 10 of my favourite photos from my blog in this post (in no particular order, limiting myself to 10 was hard enough).
